Why We’re Here

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

We Love God

“Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul and with all of your mind and with all of your strength.”

Mark 12:30

We Share Christ

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

We Make Disciples

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Matthew 28:19b-20a

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Scripture

We believe the Bible is the Word of God; that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired in all parts and therefore completely without error as originally given by God. It is our final authority and our only, all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.

  • God the Father

We believe there is one living and true God, who is inexpressibly holy, infinite, eternal, and perfect in all His attributes. He exists in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each of whom is to be equally honored and worshiped.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son, who eternally existed in pre-incarnate glory. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, all-sufficient substitutionary death, victorious bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, present intercession, and personal glorious return.

  • The Holy Spirit

We believe in the absolute deity and personality of the Holy Spirit. He is the divine agent in the sinner’s regeneration and the believer’s sanctification. He baptizes all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them until the day of redemption.

  • Satan

We believe in the existence and personality of Satan. He was created perfect but through pride rebelled against God and became utterly depraved. He is the adversary of God and His children, the power behind the world’s godless and deceptive activity. He was defeated at the cross, and his final doom is settled in the lake of fire.

  • Man

We believe that man was directly created by God. Through personal disobedience, he became a fallen creature, bringing both physical and spiritual death upon the human race. Being totally depraved, he is dependent upon the mercy of God.

  • Salvation

We believe salvation is the free gift of God, not merited or secured in any part by human virtue or works, but received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is bestowed by the sovereign grace of God through Christ’s all-sufficient sacrifice and is provided for all. We believe that those whom God has effectually called will be preserved and perfected in the image of the Lord.

  • The Church

We believe the New Testament local church is a fellowship of believers voluntarily joined together for the ministry of the Word, mutual encouragement and edification, observance of the ordinances, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission (making disciples, baptizing, and teaching to the ends of the earth). The church is to be sovereign and under no higher ecclesiastical authority. We believe Christians are to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.

  • Church Ordinances

We believe there are two church ordinances in the New Testament: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as a testimony of union by faith with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

The Lord’s Supper is symbolized by the “fruit of the vine,” representing the blood of Christ, and the bread, representing His broken body. We partake as a testimony of our faith in His death and the efficacy of His shed blood, to be observed “until He comes.”

It is important that each member regularly and humbly observes this ordinance to remain in spiritual fellowship and be in good standing.

  • Marriage

We believe God’s design for marriage is established throughout Scripture: the voluntary, lifelong union of one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy is legitimate only within marriage. In Christian marriages, the local church acts as a supportive community and a witness for accountability. A healthy marriage provides the best foundation for families and raising children.

  • Future Things

We believe in the personal, imminent, bodily, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians will be resurrected to appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, each receiving what is due for deeds done in the body. We believe in the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the eternal punishment of the wicked. The wicked will be judged at the Great White Throne judgment.

  • Civil Government

We believe civil government is divinely appointed for the interest and good order of society. Authorities are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored, and obeyed—except in matters contrary to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is Lord of the conscience and Prince of the kings of the earth.

  • Church and State

We believe in the complete separation of church and state.

  • Religious Liberty

We believe in religious liberty; that every person has the right to practice and share their beliefs.
